I made this vase/ cup for my mom for Christmas. I didn't really have a plan with it and just wanted to experiment with 2 techniques. Doing darts on the piece and watching it transform from straight and formal to wonky and funny was my favorite part, I didn't put them anywhere special and just winged it was it ended up creating perfect grooves to fit fingers into to hold the cup comfortably. Than I layered many under-glaze colors which ended up bring a problem I didn't pay attention to the label on my final glaze and it ended up being a shiny regular glaze but I still love how it turned out. I than scratched away at the layers and if I were to do this again I would put thicker layers of each color but over all this was my most favorite piece!
